Returns and Refunds Policy

Notification Period
You must notify Urban Mart Republic of any return within 7 days of purchasing the goods.

Return Process
To initiate a return and request a refund, please email us at refund@urbanmartrepublic.co.za. We will require photos of the damaged goods to process your request.

Return Shipping Costs
If you are returning an item simply because you no longer want it, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. If the item is faulty or broken, Urban Mart Republic will cover the cost of return shipping.

Manufacturer Returns
Please do not send any goods back to the manufacturer. All returns must be processed through Urban Mart Republic.

Replacements, Refunds, and Credits
Replacements, refunds, or store credits will only be issued once the returned goods have been received and inspected at our warehouse. A 15% handling/transaction fee will be deducted from refunds for orders canceled due to a change of heart.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive damaged or defective goods, we will replace the item if stock is available. If a replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund for the damaged goods.

Condition of Returned Goods
Goods must be returned in their original packaging and must not have been modified in any way. We will not issue a refund if there is evidence that the product has been used.

Shipping Time for Exchanges
The time it takes for an exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location.

Shipping Insurance
If you are returning items valued at over R450, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Urban Mart Republic does not guarantee receipt of returned items.

Refunds for Unwanted Goods
When a refund is issued for unwanted goods, the refund will exclude the initial delivery fee, and a 15% handling fee will be deducted.

Exclusions
The following items cannot be accepted for returns:

  • Foodstuffs, beverages, or other goods intended for everyday consumption at home or the workplace.
  • Personalized products or products made to the customer’s specifications.
  • Perishable items or products with a rapid expiration.
  • Incorrectly ordered clothing or shoe sizes, unless specified otherwise.
  • Products that cannot be returned due to their nature.
  • Used audio or video recordings, or any computer software if the seal is broken or if supplied in a non-digital form.
  • Reading material in any form.
  • Services related to accommodation, travel, transport, catering, or leisure, when provided on a specific date or for a specific period.
